Feature request

In property manager: We need to be able to change both the line weights & the line types. The default line weight is set at 0mm... please fix this.... 0mm = a line that is not visible when it is printed. Line types: please allow us paid "Pro" users to modify one of the most basic functions of this program. Not every line is meant to be 0mm line weight & a solid line. If this features already exist then please show us how to edit them. Thank you. Please note that this problem shows up for both new & existing DWG files.

No iCloud access

Works well, but I cant connect to my iCloud Drive so useless for accessing all my work.

Terrible

This app could be cool if there werent so many bugs. It can crush anytime. therere too many ads.

Excellent

It is a necessary tool as an Architect and constructor.

Against subscription strategy

I used AutoCad for many years. But now, never again. I am against the late software "subscription" strategies raised by greedy businesses like Autodesk, Microsoft, and others. I wish other customers would be willing to find a way to force these companies to stop their subscription practices.

Very useful and a graceful learning curve

All I have to say is this is a great app that has helped me out a bunch in my field. Download it and take a look for your self.

Amazing App

great for people on the go and need quick and easy to use features!!!

Good product, great price

This is one of the best apps I have on my iPhone. It slightly difficult to make detailed drawing on an iPhone screen, but its great for checking dimensions and adding notation. If you install this on an iPad and use a stylus, you can draft fairly complex dwg.s

Benefits

Yes. You have to create an account with Autodesk, but its a cloud based app. A cloud based app with no central data store isnt a cloud based app at all.

Caution Its Not What You Think It Is

Autocad is the standard but the app does not allow you to create 3D drawings. I think their App Store site is misleading. I just paid $49 for the app to find out it cannot do what I hoped it could. You can view 3D drawings but cannot make them.

First fix your bugs and payment system then you get five stars

AutoCAD is a useful program but i hate the idea of having to pay repeatedly for a program and not owning a copy especially since the program crashed 4 times in the last 2 days I used it. The program so far appears to be very useful but if you cant get the program to run at least whit out crashing why should I pay.

Good idea poor execution

This app need a lot of work.

Full of potential.

While not quite "Desktop Class", this app is finally starting to get the love it needs. Ive been able to add it to my daily workflow and its been great for simple projects. As far as price is concerned, $5 a month is fine… especially for a tool I maintain my livelihood with. If you accidentally purchased the $49 plan, just reach out to Apple and request a refund - or - just read before you tap. Also, thank you for the update notes that are more detailed than "bug fixes".

Dear AutoDesk, This is JUNK

We spend $30k a year with your company in subscription fees, and you want us to pay for this crappy app? Its frequent crashes and limited tools dont make me want to even consider it. Its a disappointing, half hearted attempt thats not in keeping with your products.

Not Stand Alone At All - For people who own a full ver. of AutoCAD already.

This app is great for someone who already owns AutoCAD and is capable of sending files to an iPad PRO with all aspects they want already set and created. Drawing in 2D model space is great! But a lot of functionality in model space is removed. Pro ver. has properties disabled but you can view the settings. No dimension style changes. There is no Command line. Changing layer colors is disabled. Line-weight is set to 0 and cannot be changed. Copy and Paste between files is disabled. No direct printing. You have to export to email as a .pdf or .dwg then print from Pdf viewer etc. Dont buy this thinking you will be able to create functional files from the iPad or adjust the layout ports to print what you want. There are no port view sizing or location adjustments of model space. This product has been in the works for years. It is clear that its purpose is only to facilitate a file made from a Full ver. of AutoCAD on a desktop. If they wanted it functional, it would be functional. iPad PRO is more functional than an old 286 that used to run CAD fine. Dont buy an iPad Pro thinking you will get to do much more than just draw in 2D model space with AutoCAD 360. Save your money and next year buy a full version of AutoCAD, a new computer, a subscription to AutoCAD 360, and a next gen. iPad. Or go find a loaner computer with AutoCAD to create your initial files and buy Autodesk Buzzsaw so you can get them to your iPad. Or start a business making starter files for people who need AutoCAD files functional on the iPad PRO. This app is great if you are a client who needs to look at a file. Great for 2D adjustments of existing lines. Time to return iPad PRO then buy a PC laptop and a full ver. of AutoCAD. Reassess AutoCAD 360 app in a few years or iPad PRO when it is no longer on iOS. I did not review anything but 2D model space and layout. Other reviews online suggest 3D is worse than 2D. I recommend AutoCAD 360 making this program more functional than an old 286 from 1980s or renaming the app to something less misleading in terms of functionality. This App should be called, AutoCAD Trial. AutoCAD 360 does not do the technology of the iPad PRO justice. Apple has made a wonderful product that is more than capable of running a better ver. of AtuoCAD 360. Lets hope Autodesk takes it to heart so apple can get more sales and this review can be changed. Be better! Turn it around!

Godspeed

Find it a valuable tool for onspot revision checks in the field. Great app

Helpful

Great to show clients your progress with a 3D model that they can rotate around on their iPads Also great to play around while waiting for trains to get a little extra work done

Very Useful 2D/PDF Viewer

Great app for viewing 2D drawings and PDF files from the cloud. It will also view JPEGs! So handy for when you cant access your computer or need to share something quickly. I use daily.

Project Manager

The CAD program functions well on the iPAD 2. Emailing the CAD as a PDF sometimes fails however the saving features in the program allow a 2nd and 3rd try easy. It is sometimes difficult to measure components on a drawing but with some patience and time it gets easier.

Dont waste your time on the free version

First, app forces you to create an account with your e-mail address so youre on their e-mail marketing lists (plus their affiliates) then second, you cant even create a new drawing with the free version, only view their 4 samples, you must upgrade to Pro version (a.k.a. pay) to create anything. Why even offer a free version? Dont waste your time!
