Not very useful

Ive been doing CAD for 20 years and all I can say is this app is not worth it for drawing at all. Too slow to draw anything. The tools are very difficult to use. Even with the stylus. And with the subscription they are asking for thats laughable if you pay for this you are a fool. You are wasting your money. This app is only good for viewing thats all nothing more.

Worth 50 bucks a year if...

The free version is awesome but Im doing a ton of work on my house so I decided to go pro for a year. Great product.

Crash

I just updated the program and it wont let me save to offline.

Problems with iPhone version

I am having problems with my drawings appearing garbled. When I open a file, the line work is inverted from how I created it but the text appears upright to the display (inverted to how it was created) and rotated around the insertion point, so that its in the wrong place. HELP!

Useful app but needs more

Having used AutoCAD in various forms for years on the desktop, being able to directly draw and modify the lines of my model is excellent on here. The only drawback is the inability to create many of the more powerful features of AutoCAD, like hatching an area or creating a block. Also, there seems to be no way to change the layer of geometry once created.

Useful for some, not for me

This is probably a great app for those who wish to review CAD drawings, but if youre looking to be able to create 3D drawings with this youre out of luck. You can, however, use it to create 2D drawings. Then you can use the 3D view to look at your 2D drawing, which is pretty much useless.

Auto cad

Love it sometimes it loses but other than that I love it

Good not great

I love the idea of using autocad on my iPad pro, but there are a few frustrating things that I hope they fix. 1) I love the precision input I have when I create a shape (rectangle, line, etc), but once I move on and come back and select the shape I can’t change the dimensions very precisely. Major flaw. 2) the precise input tool is kind of messed up when entering measurements in inches. I go to enter 1 1/2” and it keeps reading it as 11/2”. No matter how many times I put in the space it doesn’t read it. So I end up having to enter 3/2”. #fail 3) Snap to objects. I need greater precision when creating new shapes in relation to already created shapes. If I have a rectangle wall and want to create a intersecting wall getting it to line up with the currently created one is harder than it should be. The tool should snap to the existing shapes (it kind of does but most often it’s the wrong corner). Maybe having an input tool to place the x+y would be helpful, or an alignment tool.

President / Designer

It would be very helpful to be able to do the following: 1. Match objects properties 2. Have consistent dim style i.e. height 3. Issue the drawing on a title block if needed to share while traveling.

Dont force me to create an account

I really hate apps that force you to create an account before you can even try its features. I deleted it 2 minutes after installing it. Hey, developer, is that what you want people to do... delete your app without ever getting to use it?

Good to check on work

Pretty useful. Id love it if there was a way to open linked xrefs

Take the drawings to the site on your iPad

I never go anywhere without my iPad but infrequently carry paper - love the fact I can bring up the drawings anywhere and respond to questions.
